Bachelor of Laws (LLB) – Program Description
The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program at Starford International University is designed to develop highly competent, ethical, and practice-ready legal professionals who can serve South Sudan and the global community. Rooted in both local and international legal traditions, the programme equips students with a rigorous foundation in legal principles, analytical skills, research abilities, and practical application.
The curriculum balances theory, practice, and context, preparing graduates for careers in legal practice, public service, diplomacy, corporate sectors, NGOs, and academia.
Program Overview
The LLB is a four-year, eight-semester program offering a progressive legal education. Students begin with foundational subjects that introduce the nature, purpose, and structure of law, and advance into specialized and applied legal disciplines during the upper years. The program emphasizes South Sudanese customary laws, African legal development, and international legal frameworks, ensuring graduates gain both local relevance and international competence.
